How to check the oil level?
Almost all cars have the engine oil level measured with a range selector lever set to the “P” position and with the engine running. On the dipstick, which is used to measure the oil level in the automatic transmission, most often there are several marks.
How to check the oil level in the engine car
To check the oil level will need to install the car on a flat horizontal area. The oil level should be checked with an oil dipstick approximately 2-4 minutes after the engine is turned off. To do this: raise and open the hood; pull out the dipstick; wipe it dry with a cloth so that there are no fibers left; insert the probe back; pull out the dipstick to measure the oil level.
The oil level should be located between the words "MAX" and "MIN", which are marked on the oil dipstick. The distance between these marks should correspond to approximately 1 l. If the mark of the oil level is below the inscription "MIN", then you need to add oil.
