The former head of the Ministry of Defense, Anatoly Serdyukov, was amnestied.
According to a source close to the investigation, the decision on the amnesty of the ex-minister was made on February 21. There is no official confirmation that Serdyukov is indeed exempt from liability.

Recall that in December 2013, the former minister was accused of negligence. According to investigators, the minister built the road to a private facility for the money of the Ministry of Defense. Recall, on March 5, Serdyukov’s son-in-law Valery Puzikov, also accused of embezzling budget funds, came to the SC with a guilty plea.
