Member of the art group "War" was sentenced to two months in prison. War activist Leonid Nikolayev was convicted by the Dzerzhinsky court of St. Petersburg for turning over police cars. The second member of the art group, Oleg Vorotnikov, is now sitting in Kresty, a preventive measure against him has not yet been chosen.
Both participants of the "War" were detained in Moscow this week. In bags they were taken to Petersburg. They were accused of participating in the action "Palace Coup", as a result of which several police cars were turned upside down.
After the incident, a criminal case was initiated under item “b” of part 1 of article 213 of the Russian Criminal Code - hooliganism for reasons of hatred against any social group.
