What can be produced?
If you decide to open your production business, but there are difficulties with the specialization, our article will be useful to you. We will talk about what can be produced and what products will be most in demand.
What can be produced for sale
Guaranteed profit will bring only what does not depend on the trends of time. And what is always popular? That's right: food and drinks, clothes and shoes, building materials, household goods, furniture ... Perhaps that is enough for a start. Of course, to open any production you will need a lot of start-up capital, the amount of which (depending on the type of production) ranges from 500 thousand to several million rubles (estimated amounts will be indicated in the respective chapters). However, the purchase of equipment is rather the final stage of the adjustment of the production line, and before that you will have to work a lot.
How to open production
Like any other business, production begins with planning. And here you need to answer not only the question “What can be produced?”,but also to such questions: “How to produce?”, “Where to produce?”, “How much to produce?”, “How and to whom to sell finished products?”, “What is the competition in this market segment?” Therefore, based on the means and Opportunities, chart to start a few options for production. For example, if you already have a room and a minimum start-up capital (at least 300-500 thousand rubles), then you can think about purchasing used equipment for organizing a workshop for the production of building materials (for example, foam concrete), textile (for example, yarn) or food products (eg, yeast).
Why used? Because the new equipment with such a budget will definitely not have enough funds. Next, we note that just to set up production is not enough, it is necessary to think over the sales scheme for finished products, otherwise it will be just discarded money. In other words, you need to find out whether what you want to produce will be in demand and, if so, find buyers for your goods. Do not want to do it yourself - hire a marketer and manager. The first will determine the level of demand for a particular product, the second will look for sales channels.However, on the way to your own enterprise, there is one more serious obstacle - permits.
Each area has its own set of documents, so listing here is meaningless. But what is important is to find a competent lawyer who, while you are setting up a production line, will be engaged in collecting documents. It is clear that all of the above specialists will have to pay even before the company begins to generate income. Do not forget about the workers (and there will be at least two of them even in an automated enterprise) and an accountant. As you can see - the stated minimum budget may be even small. So we either study the demand on our own, look for clients and prepare documents, or pay. And now let us briefly describe the launch of the two most efficient production lines to date (expensive and cheap) in terms of returns.
It will, of course, not alcoholic, but soft drinks - kvass, juices, etc. This is a lucrative business, but to organize a successful business in this area you will need to produce at least one drink according to a unique recipe.And here, again, you need to find a competent specialist in this field, who, moreover, is also open to experimentation. So, for the organization of the enterprise for the production of beverages we need:
- production premises (preferably own, otherwise - rent);
- equipment (best new conveyor line, in extreme cases - used);
- packaging materials (PET, Tetra Pak, etc.);
- raw materials (concentrates, sugar, additives, etc.).
As for raw materials: it is worthwhile to find at least a few potential suppliers and compare their offers, choosing the optimal price / quality ratio for yourself. Same with packaging. We will need the premises not only to accommodate the production line, but also for the temporary storage of the supplied raw materials, so it is worthwhile to set aside space for this in advance. In addition, you need to provide where the warehouse for storage of finished products and various utility rooms will be located.
The total area of all production facilities at the first stage will not be less than 150 sq. M. Of course, it is possible and less, but then get ready for frequent visits to the SES and firefighters. As for the cost of equipment, it is quite expensive and even a used line will most likely cost at least 1.5-2 million rubles.And this is not counting many other costs: the staff (and you need at least 30 people led by a technologist), transport, taxes, etc.
More precisely, we will talk about penoizole - a modern insulation and soundproof material based on foam. This will require the purchase of a gas installation with a compressor, special tanks, as well as lighting and ventilation equipment, and some additional tools. However, such equipment even in the aggregate will cost several times cheaper than the line for the production of beverages. The price of a new production kit is unlikely to be above 80-100 thousand rubles.
Where, then, is the minimum amount of 500 thousand for opening a business? Let's not forget that your customers from the building stores are unlikely to come for the finished products themselves - the goods need to be delivered to the shops. So, you need a van (250-300 thousand b / y). Next you need to buy lighting, ventilation and install this equipment. Here are about 100 thousand rubles. And do not forget that to start the production of penoizol, we must have raw materials (resin, foaming agent, etc.) - for this we need another 100 tr.
Of course, then we will pay salaries to the workers (and there will be two of them at the first stage), we will add here the cost of renting premises, taxes, maintenance of vehicles and equipment. But the minimum amount required for the start of production, will be 500 thousand. This is significantly cheaper than opening a beverage production line, but the initial profit will, of course, be lower.
