Should I buy used parts?

I need to change the rear left and front right shock absorbers in the VW Passat B7 2011 release. Do you think it is worth contacting a Volkswagen disassembly to buy used parts? Just new parts are expensive, and used ones are almost several times cheaper, but the question is, how reliable will they be in service?

You know better think for yourself, I personally have been buying used spare parts for 10 years already, not all of course, but the fact is, for all this time there have been no problems, the main thing is to choose normally.

From my experience, I can say for sure that if you pick up normal used parts, they will serve you no worse than new ones, and in some cases even longer.

The year before last I set myself two rear shock absorbers on the Volkswagen Polo, I still ride them, nothing's all right.
